Every time I go to Valley Forge National park, I always find myself in the Cabin Shop. The cute little store located behind the Washington Memorial Chapel on Route 23. My son is a big part of that. He likes to stop in for a treat. Lately it has been for a spongebob Popsicle. But they also have homemade fudge, Coffee etc. that I always have to check out. Now when we go in there, we will see our photos for sale! That's right, Paten Photography is now selling photographs at Valley Forge National Park! There are a couple of stores at this park. So if you want to check it out, make sure you go to the Cabin Shop off of Route 23 behind the Chapel. I chose a couple of images here to display on this blog post. However, if you go to the store, you will see that we are selling several others. Following is some information about the Cabin Shop.

The Cabin Shop specializes in unique gifts, gift baskets, souvenirs, colonialart, fine pewter,and homemade baked goods. For the kids- colonial toys, books, and othersouvenirs especially for them. Open daily 10am to 5pm 610-783-0576 Check them out the next time you are in the area!

Amkor Karate in Collegeville

I'd like to take a minute to feature my favorite Karate studio in the area. I've had the pleasure of photographing at several Karate studios. This gives me the opportunity to watch the classes in session. I really liked how the classes were run at the Amkor Karate in Collegeville, so I tried it out for myself. Last winter, I had my son attend some classes. The instructor, Master Matys, is very friendly and was very good with the kids. My 6 year old son really liked that he ended the class with an active game. He particularly liked Stinky foot. What is that you ask? You've got to go to find out! Samsung SH100 Camera

Samsung Electronic Co. has recently announced the launch of their SH100 14.2 MB camera. It can be connected to the web via Wi-Fi, which means photos can be sent via email or uploaded to Picasa, YouTube, Facebook, or Photo Bucket! You can view your images in real timeon a Android powered Galaxy S smartphone. Another important feature is that photos can be backed up to your PC by pressing two buttons on the camera. Street price is $199.00.
